Hello! I'm Tyler, an enthusiastic and adaptable junior software engineer based in New York, NY.
Passionate about using technology to creatively solve problems, I bring expertise in full-stack software development and technologies, including Vanilla Javascript, React, Ruby on Rails, and Node.js.
I am currently in the midst of a career transition, having previously worked as an executive search consultant in the arenas of biotechnology, technology, private equity, and venture captial.
Blending analytical expertise from coding with strategic, relationship-building skills from my recruiting background, I aim to create impactful and transformative digital applications.
I hold a bachelor's degree in film studies from Columbia University. In 2019, I founded Walk In My Shoes Media, a diversity & inclusion training company.

ACE Tennis Rankings
ACE TENNIS RANKINGS is a React Vite application that utilizes Vike for server-side rendering (SSR) in order to optimize search engine indexability. The app pulls data from a custom web-scraper API in order to fetch rankings for the men's and women's professional tennis tours (ATP & WTA).

ACE Tennis Scores
ACE TENNIS SCORES is a React-on-Rails app that lets users to access live ATP, WTA, and ITF tennis scores and weekly rankings. In order to render point-by-point scores to users, the applications synthesizes scores information provided by two different APIs. In addition, rankings data is compiled and rendered using a custom web scraper and API.
